I always liked Raggedy Ann. She was different (compared to other dolls like Barbie ) and very sweet in all her books and shows. "The Enchanted Square" is by far one of my favorite classic cartoon shorts. I was wowed by the artwork and imagination world sequence of that particular cartoon and still am today.
Maybe I should've made a less gradient-ish background. Never a big fan of too much gradients unless it's for certain things but fun shading with watercolor brush. I forgot some stitch and patchwork details that fits with her image. I really wanted to finish this old sketch of mine instead of studying for Biology.
Raggedy Ann belongs to Johnny Gruelle.

My first friend ever was a girl and she had a plush Raggedy Ann doll. I don't remember her having any Barbie dolls, otherwise I would have had to play with those. This was back in the mid-1980's.
I like the image of Ann here.
